This design, named Upbeat Design and created by Studio Tali Gotthilf, is a unique and innovative approach to high-tech office premises. The office space, located within a large industrial building, embraces its industrial roots and incorporates them into the design aesthetic. The use of constructive elements as an industrial design theme creates a raw and authentic atmosphere.
The office space spans 400 square meters and is divided into different areas to cater to various needs. The main space features large glass partitions with individualized graphics, creating a visually striking facade. This area serves as an open space teamwork area, promoting collaboration and creativity. Additionally, there are private rooms designated for management, conference meetings, a display center, and an assembly room.
The design team, led by Tali Gotthilf, carefully selected natural materials such as bare wood, glass, iron, and tin to enhance the industrial aesthetic. The use of exposed ceilings, lighting fixtures, and concrete floors further contributes to the overall design language. The inclusion of the external AC pipe as a design element creates a cohesive visual connection throughout the office.
One of the main challenges faced during the design and construction process was integrating the offices within a working industrial building. The team successfully established a connection between the offices and the factory by incorporating open office windows that overlook the factory floor. This integration emphasizes the practical and unadorned nature of the space.
The Upbeat Design office promotes interaction and collaboration among employees. The main walkway allows for easy identification of working interaction behind the glass partitions on the right, as well as the work area within the open space on the left. Light dividers between working stations provide privacy while maintaining a sense of flow and interaction.
This innovative design project was completed within the Industrial Area Shoham in Israel from January 2019 to December 2019. The result is a high-tech office premises that seamlessly blends industrial elements with modern functionality. Upbeat Design has been recognized for its excellence and creativity, receiving the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020.
